travel: london street photography

In need of adventure and creative inspiration (and with the vacation time to burn), I spontaneously decided to go on a solo trip to London in early April.  I've only been to Europe once, but I wasn't alone except for my plane rides, a walk around our Barcelona neighborhood and an hour or two one Parisian afternoon. So this was a big leap for me, and really represented a new phase of my life I find myself in. I feel mature, confident and know what I want. I'm doing what I want and not worrying about what anyone else thinks. It's incredibly liberating.

Of course, photography played a huge role in my getaway. I had my camera with me at all times, and really enjoyed walking around and exploring. I took a street scape photography tour from a company called Foto Ruta. I highly recommend checking them out if you're ever in London. Had a blast with my tour guide, Pablo, chasing reflections and the extraordinary in Soho. These are some of my favorite street shots from the afternoon.
